I was asking from an inter species perspective. The concern that a human or psy might find their Changeling partner, well, changing while growing intimate. But I realize that is an awkward question.

Unconscious semi-shifting stems from heightened emotions. Typically anger, but pleasure can sometimes do it as well. It's a matter of them staying aware and shifting back the moment they feel their claws coming out.

From what I've seen, he's a terrible tracker, but has a good sense of control when it comes to shifting. Granted, I haven't seen it on more than one occasion.

Also, he seems like a nice enough man. You could do worse in a partner to share intimate skin privileges with.
