They do, which is why the most dangerous men and women in the Net have sworn their loyalty to the E's. The Arrows have already proven they'll stop at nothing to keep them safe.

Then again, as a cardinal E has recently shown, they're also capable of protecting themselves--she projected her pursuers' fears onto them. Left them wrecks curled up in the fetal position.

From what we can tell, with this group in particular... their motivations appear to be motivated by greed.

Keeping the races separate is better business for them. Pit two groups that have no communication against each other and pick up their pieces.

The Consortium, the farther we dig, seems to only be using existing racial tensions for their own benefit.

In actuality, they have no issues working across racial boundaries if it means maintaining their profits.

I was asking from an inter species perspective. The concern that a human or psy might find their Changeling partner, well, changing while growing intimate. But I realize that is an awkward question.

In my case, Brenna has to worry about me and my abilities more than vice versa, though occasionally she unconsciously semi-shifts her hands into claws.

Unconscious semi-shifting stems from heightened emotions. Typically anger, but pleasure can sometimes do it as well. It's a matter of them staying aware and shifting back the moment they feel their claws coming out.
